This weekend’s Burnley & Pendle Scooter Rally was more than just a celebration of five decades of scooter culture, Northern Soul, and local camaraderie—it was also a chance for Casual Minds Matter CIC to connect with the community and raise awareness for our cause.
We set up our pop-up stall selling a range of Casual Minds Matter merchandise and t-shirts, with every purchase helping to fund our mental health and awareness projects. Adding to the atmosphere, we proudly showcased our freshly airbrushed scooter—customised with Casual Minds Matter logos and Casual Culture artwork by the incredibly talented Gatch Rivett Airbrushing.
While the main event aimed to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice, we were there to drum up support for our charity, meet new faces, and share our mission of promoting mental health awareness in everyday spaces.
From live music and scooter shows to scenic ride-outs and community spirit, the weekend was a brilliant mix of nostalgia and purpose. A massive thank you to Burnley & Pendle Scooter Club for welcoming us and to everyone who stopped by our stall—it means the world to see our message spreading on the streets.
